Insurance, Payment, & Fees
AETNA or CareFirst BCBS CLIENTS: I am an In-Network provider with Aetna and CareFirst BCBS. The visit fees will be submitted to Aetna or CareFirst BCBS for you. Visits are typically covered with little or no cost-sharing. You are responsible for any co-pays/ deductibles/ etc. or for the visit fee if your insurance does not cover your visit. If you purchase any products during your visit, they are not covered by insurance.
OUT-OF-NETWORK INSURANCE / SELF-PAY CLIENTS: Fees listed below are for clients with out-of-network coverage or self-pay clients. Fee is due at the time of service. My billing company will then submit the visit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement of your visit.

Class Payment & Fees:
AETNA or CareFirst BCBS CLIENTS: I am an In-Network provider with Aetna and CareFirst BCBS. "Private class fee" of $100 due at the time of service for Breastfeeding or Infant Skills classes, with additional $75 billed to Aetna or CareFirst BCBS; "private class fee" of $175 due at the time of service for childbirth class, with additional $175 billed to Aetna (two-day class option only if submitting to insurance for in-network reimbursement). The visit fees will be submitted to Aetna or CareFirst BCBS for you. You are responsible for any co-pays/ deductibles/ etc. or for the visit fee if Aetna does not cover your visit. Aetna does not cover any products purchased during your visit.
OUT-OF-NETWORK INSURANCE / SELF-PAY CLIENTS: Fees listed below are for clients with out-of-network coverage or self-pay clients. Fee is due at the time of class registration.
Group Classes: Payment is due at the time of registration regardless of insurance. During class, a receipt will be provided to you, which can be submitted to your insurance company for potential reimbursement.
Sara Grawe, MSN, RN, IBCLC, ICCE
Sara is a Registered Nurse, International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, and ICEA Certified Childbirth Educator with extensive Women's Health experience.
Sara started her career with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Virginia. She then worked at a birth center in Texas providing prenatal, childbirth, and postnatal care to clients. Upon return to Virginia, Sara worked in Inova's Family Centered Care (postpartum) unit, caring for new mothers and infants. Sara has also worked as a Public Health Nurse for the Arlington County Department of Health Services in Teen Health & Family Planning Services. While completing her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Pennsylvania, Sara worked as a Lactation Consultant RN at Pennsylvania Hospital. After becoming a mother, Sara decided to open her own business to help other women enjoy breastfeeding and motherhood.
Sara lives in Arlington, VA and loves spending time with her baby girl, two year old daughter, husband, and black lab. In her free time, she serves as the current Expectant Moms Coordinator for MONA (Mothers of North Arlington). Sara is a compassionate provider who enjoys working with new mothers and babies to solve breastfeeding concerns!
